Fritz Winter decided to make the investment in Kentucky in part because of the trend toward global platforms in the automotive industry. Since internationally positioned automotive manufacturers want to offer their customers worldwide identical vehicles with the highest quality standards, suppliers must also face the challenges of globalization.
In the brake disc market, which is important for Fritz Winter, only very few manufacturers can meet the customer requirement for local production with global service "from a single source." The development of new, innovative products as well as the definition of global standards in quality management, are still carried out centrally from Stadtallendorf.

The new building in Kentucky was built on an area of 25,000m², the investment volume was more than 100 million euros. In the meantime, a capacity expansion in the melting store has already been successfully integrated into the production flow.

The 13th Apprenticeship Day at Fritz Winter took place on 31.08.2019. The event serves to present the company and its diverse training opportunities to students, their families, teachers and all other interested parties. As the largest training company in the region, our goal is to give our trainees a good start to their careers.
