Fritz Winter and the Bright World of Metals
- The "Bright World of Metals" comprises a total of four leading trade fairs: Gifa, Metec, Thermprocess and Newcast. These cover all topics relating to foundry and metallurgy technology.
The fair took place from June 25 to 29 in Düsseldorf. Fritz Winter Eisengießerei was there with around 2,100 other exhibitors.
In a total of twelve exhibition halls, visitors were able to marvel at the entire spectrum of foundry technology, cast products, metallurgy and thermoprocessing technology. According to the organizer, half of the 78,000 trade visitors came to Düsseldorf from abroad.
The Fritz Winter booth was located in Hall 14 at NewCast. The NewCast is the 5th international trade fair for cast product and offers space for 400 exhibitors from more than 30 countries. Besides the own booth, some products of Fritz Winter could be admired in hall 13. Also in Hall 13 was the test foundry of the VDG, where, among others, 30 trainees and 4 skilled workers of the Fritz Winter iron foundry brought a total of 950 students closer to the various training professions in the foundry industry.
Focus on resource conservation and environmentally friendly technologies
In addition to the topic of Industry 4.0, the focus was on the topic of sustainability. Here, Fritz Winter Eisengießerei was able to contribute with its ecoCasting technology, which even became part of the ecoMetal Trail. The ecoMetal Trail highlights particularly sustainable solutions from the foundry industry. Sustainability, resource conservation and energy efficiency are honored here.

Training day 2019
The 13th Apprenticeship Day at Fritz Winter took place on 31.08.2019. The event serves to present the company and its diverse training opportunities to students, their families, teachers and all other interested parties. As the largest training company in the region, our goal is to give our trainees a good start to their careers.
