With the start of the 2019 training year, the company Fritz Winter Eisengießerei from Stadtallendorf welcomes 50 new apprentices and FOS trainees in 14 different training professions.
To make the start easier for the young "Winterians", the Service Center Human Resources now organized a familiarization trip to Lake Edersee for the sixth time in a row. From 07 - 09 August 2019, the company moved into the youth hostel ,,Hohe Fahrt" in Vöhl quarters.
Special attention was paid to getting to know the trainees among themselves. The get-to-know trip is to promote the team feeling, which is actively lived in our family company in all areas.
To get to know our company with great pleasure, a "Fritz Winter team scavenger hunt in conjunction with a Fritz Winter crossword puzzle" with many exciting questions, is part of the trip. The winners were chosen directly at the Edersee by our personnel manager, Andreas Fiedler, and could look forward to great prizes. In addition to interesting presentations about the company and occupational safety, the trainees had the opportunity to talk with their instructors about future mutual expectations during their training. Sportily the program was rounded off by a dragon boat event on the water.
In addition to the planned actions, each trainee still has enough time to get to know the new colleagues more closely. The program schedule is rounded off by joint evening barbecues. Thus in loose way, the we feeling is promoted and a pleasant working climate is created.

One milestone follows the next. Just one year after the groundbreaking ceremony, Fritz Winter's US plant was officially opened. Now the millionth brake disc has rolled off the production line there.
Training day 2019
The 13th Apprenticeship Day at Fritz Winter took place on 31.08.2019. The event serves to present the company and its diverse training opportunities to students, their families, teachers and all other interested parties. As the largest training company in the region, our goal is to give our trainees a good start to their careers.
