My name is Wilhelm Steinberg and Fritz Winter has been part of my life since the year 2000, when I began training as a model making mechanic. This very formative time opened up the multifaceted world of the foundry to me. After completing my training, I worked for a short time as a skilled worker in the technical services department, which also included model making. This was followed in 2005 by a course of study sponsored by Fritz Winter. During this time, I gained an insight into most of our production and development areas.

When I finished my studies in 2008, I started working in our product development department for drive components, which I have been responsible for since 2021. The exciting environment has been with me ever since and I appreciate the balancing act between development work, customer contact and constructive discussions with all production areas.

My team and I see ourselves as an interdisciplinary interface within the company and, of course, with customers. Whether from Germany, the USA, China, etc. - they value Fritz Winter as a development partner and see this as one of, if not their greatest strength. 
Whether you are a career changer or have learned the ropes from scratch, everyone does their bit here and also has the opportunity to develop themselves. Like me, many of my colleagues have been with us their entire working lives. Retaining employees over such a long period of time is only possible with motivation and a great environment.

You shouldn't forget that you spend most of the day at work. That's why you should enjoy what you do and that's the way it is. I enjoy coming to Stadtallendorf every morning - grateful for the encouragement and support I have received here in the course of my working life so far and for a job that I can identify with
