My name is Wilhelm Steinberg and Fritz Winter has accompanied my life since the year 2000, when I began an apprenticeship as a model-making mechanic. This time, which was very formative, opened up the multifaceted world of the foundry to me. After completing my training, I worked for a short time as a skilled worker in the technical services department, which also included model making. In 2005 followed a study sponsored by Fritz Winter. During this time, I gained insights into a large part of our manufacturing and development areas.

With the completion of my studies in 2008, I began my work in our product development for drive components which I have also been responsible for since 2021. The exciting environment has accompanied me since then and I appreciate the balancing act between development activities, customer contact and constructive discussions with all manufacturing areas.

My team and I see ourselves as an interdisciplinary interface within the company and, of course, with the customers. Whether from Germany, USA, China, etc. - they appreciate Fritz Winter as a development partner and see this as one of, if not the great strength. 
Whether you're a career changer or have learned from the bottom up, everyone does their part here and also has the opportunity to develop themselves. Like me, many of my colleagues have already spent their entire working lives with us. Retaining employees over such long periods is only possible with motivation and a great environment.

You should not forget that you spend most of the day at work. For this reason, you should have fun doing what you do and so it is. I enjoy coming to Stadtallendorf every morning - grateful for the encouragement and support I have received here over the course of my working life so far and for a job I can identify with
