Stadtallendorf, April 14, 2022 - The 43rd International Vienna Motor Symposium is taking place this year with the question of which drive systems will play which role in the future mobility mix. At the Fritz Winter Eisengießerei booth from April 27 - 29, 2022, sustainable product solutions for powertrain and chassis technology will be on display, providing the iron foundry's customers with the best possible support for their environmental goals.

Fritz Winter is a reliable partner for the automotive and commercial vehicle industry today and will continue to be so in the future. The focus is on innovative lightweight solutions.

The focus of the trade fair stand in Vienna is the so-called "ecoCasting process". Here, the products are manufactured in a particularly environmentally friendly way. Production alone requires considerably fewer resources, such as energy and sand, than conventional or comparable processes. In concrete terms, this process saves around 22 million liters of drinking water and more than 1,100 tons of CO2 per year. Also, because the raw material iron scrap is a 100% recycled product, the products are absolutely sustainable and can be fully recycled again later. Since 1953, Fritz Winter Eisengießerei has relied 100% on sustainable raw materials as the basis for its products. What becomes an engine block or a brake disc may once have been a railroad track or a bicycle.
