Stadtallendorf. SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT Nordhessen and Fritz Winter Eisengießerei GmbH & Co. KG can look back on many years of successful collaboration on various career guidance projects and apprentice-pupil events. To mark the 65th anniversary of SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT Nordhessen, the company invited Fritz Winter to a special visit to provide information about the transformation and its impact on training and the company's training program. Afterwards, the 20 or so participants led by Frauke Syring, Managing Director of SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT Nordhessen, were given a tour of the iron foundry.

With 16 apprenticeships, Fritz Winter is one of the largest training companies in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district. As part of its transformation, the company is investing around 330 million euros in the future of Fritz Winter over the next few years. The focus is on eco solutions, which include the topics of sustainability, decarbonization and innovative products and production processes.

The Head of Training and Further Education, Sebastian Hofmann, welcomed the guests and explained during the factory tour: "With the transformation, we are also making our training future-proof and modern. In doing so, we are continuously adapting our range of training occupations as well as specializations and focal points during training to the changing professional requirements in the company. In addition to traditional content, digital topics are becoming increasingly important," explained Hofmann. The training team therefore also raises awareness of how to deal with artificial intelligence such as ChatGPT, cyberbullying and phishing as well as information security. The digital transformation is also having an impact on the handling of workpieces, machines and systems. Thanks to "augmented reality", for example, valuable resources are already being conserved and digital skills trained during training thanks to milling simulation or virtual welding.

The managing director duo Jens Nähler and Frauke Syring thanked the company for the many years of excellent cooperation:

Finally, Hofmann presented a foundry casting engraved with the words "A 65th birthday present for SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT Nordhessen from Fritz Winter Eisengießerei GmbH & Co. KG".
