Fritz Winter donates 5,000 euros twice to regional initiatives

•    Donation amounting to a total of 10,000 euros
•    Support for the Marburg parents' initiative and the Marburg food bank

Stadtallendorf, 11 May 2023 - At the beginning of April 2023, the Fritz Winter iron foundry handed over a donation totalling 10,000 euros to the Marburg parents' initiative for children suffering from leukaemia and tumours as well as to the Marburg food bank. The company waived its planned works meeting in March and instead donated the earmarked budget to these two institutions, among others.
"We are very pleased that you support people in difficult life situations with your work and hope to be able to help a little with our donation," said Labour Director Klaus G. Mager.
The chairpersons of Tafel Marburg, Rita Vaupel and Waltraud Dorn, expressed their gratitude for the donation, which will help to buy a new refrigerated truck to ensure the supply of food for the approximately 3,000 customers.
Marion Gründel and Karl Kreh from the Marburg Parents' Initiative also thanked the representatives of Fritz Winter. "We are currently looking after 50 affected families in direct contact," said Kreh. With the help of the donation, they want to further intensify their work and focus even more on the care of siblings.
Works council chair Metin Bal also emphasised the importance of the work of the two organisations and praised their commitment: "On behalf of the staff and the works council, we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your work!"
