Fritz Winter and the "Bright World of Metals"
The “Bright World of Metals” comprises in total four leading trade fairs: Gifa, Metec, Thermprocess and NewCast. These cover all subjects with regard to foundry and metallurgy technology.
The fair took place at Düsseldorf from June 25 to 29. Company Fritz Winter Iron Foundry participated together with approx. 2.100 other exhibitors.
In twelve exhibition halls in total, the visitors could admire the complete range of foundry technology, casting products, metallurgy and thermal process technology. According to the organizer, half of the 78.000 trade and business professionals comes from abroad to Düsseldorf.
The stand of Fritz Winter was to be found in hall 14 of the NewCast. The NewCast is the 5th international trade fair for casting products and offers space for 400 exhibitors from more than 30 countries. Beside the own stand, some Fritz Winter products could be admired in hall 13. Hall 13 also hosted the training foundry at which 30 apprentices and 4 experts of Fritz Winter Foundry demonstrated the different skilled occupations in the foundry industry to 950 students in total.
Resource-saving and eco-friendly technologies in the focus
Beside the Industry 4.0 subject, the focus was on the subject of sustainability. In this context, Fritz Winter Foundry was able to contribute with its ecoCasting technology which even became an ingredient of the ecoMetal Trail. The ecoMetal Trail emphasizes especially sustainable solutions of the foundry industry. Sustainability, resource-saving and energy efficiency are honored in this context.
