Job description: Electronics technician, specialising in “administration and maintenance“

You are occupied with the energy supply plants, with the installations of the measurement, control, regulation and drive technology.

You also produce mechanical parts, form connections, wire components, mount, test and measure electric devices and plant parts and program programmable logic controllers (PLC). You put plants and energy technology equipment into service, monitor the individual functions and eliminate errors which cause stoppages.

Your workplace is located in the operational plant and in operations maintenance.

The apprenticeship lasts 3 1/2 years. 1 1/2 years in basic vocational training and 2 years in professional specialist training)
